What's included in a turnover clean?

Every turnover follows the same written 12-line checklist, room by room, and ends with a time-stamped photo report sent before the next check-in. Beds are stripped and remade, bathrooms descaled and the kitchen reset. Anything broken, stained or missing is photographed and reported the same day.

  • Bedrooms: linens changed, beds made, under the beds and nightstands, closets and hangers cleared.
  • Bathrooms: toilet, shower and tub descaled, mirrors and drains, hair check, fresh towels counted per guest.
  • Kitchen: fridge emptied and wiped, dishwasher run and unloaded, counters, stovetop, microwave, coffee maker.
  • Living areas and balcony or patio: cushions lifted, floors and under the furniture, surfaces wiped.
  • Whole home: trash out, thermostat set, doors locked, restock check.
  • Report: before and after photos with a time stamp, a damage note and a restock list, sent before check-in.

What costs extra in Toronto?

Three things move the price: extra bathrooms, a deep clean added on top of a turnover ($169 CAD), and a home left in heavy condition after a long stay or building work. Anything extra is confirmed in writing before the crew is sent, never added to the invoice afterwards.

  • Extra bathrooms: a three-bedroom with two or three bathrooms has its own line in the table above.
  • Deep clean on top of a turnover: $169 CAD, for inside the oven and fridge, cabinet interiors, baseboards and inside windows.
  • Laundry done on site instead of a linen swap: quoted per home, because it adds machine cycles.
  • Heavy soiling, a party aftermath or post-renovation dust: quoted per home after photos.
  • Five bedrooms and up, or a home with a hot tub or a pool deck: flat price confirmed the same day.

How does CleanConnect charge?

One flat price per home, agreed in writing before the clean, with a single invoice for every home. The price is set from the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, not from the time spent on site, so an invoice never arrives higher than the quote.

  • One flat price per home, agreed before the crew is sent. Nothing is added to the invoice afterwards.
  • A time-stamped photo report after every clean, so proof can be forwarded to an owner without going to the property.
  • If a crew cancels, you are told right away and we look for another crew. If we cannot find one, that clean is not billed.
  • One invoice for every home, whatever crew did the work.
  • Month to month, in writing, cancel with 14 days' notice. No onboarding fee.

What is a normal Airbnb cleaning fee in Toronto?

On Airbnb, the host sets the cleaning fee the guest pays, so there is no single standard. Most hosts set it to cover what the turnover costs them, and our flat prices give that number: $129 CAD for a studio or one-bedroom, $159 CAD for a two-bedroom. Knowing the exact cost per stay makes it easier to set a fee that covers the clean.

7 / 17

Does Airbnb clean the listing, or does the host have to?

Airbnb does not send cleaners. The host is responsible for the clean between stays, either personally, with an independent cleaner or with a service like CleanConnect. We take the turnover off the host's list and send the proof in photos.

How do you clean an Airbnb between two guests?

Our crews work in the same order in every home, so nothing is skipped when the window is tight. Beds and bathrooms come first, floors come last so they stay clean, and a photo walk-through closes every visit.

  • Strip every bed and gather the used towels.
  • Bathrooms: toilet, shower or tub, sink, mirror and drains, then fresh towels counted per guest.
  • Kitchen: dishes, dishwasher, counters, stovetop, microwave and coffee maker, and a fridge check for anything left behind.
  • Bedrooms: beds made with clean linens, under the beds, nightstands, closets and hangers.
  • Living areas, balcony or patio: cushions lifted, surfaces wiped, under the furniture.
  • Trash and recycling out, consumables restocked from your supplies, thermostat set.
  • Floors last, from the back of the home to the door.
  • Time-stamped photos of every room, plus anything broken, stained or missing, sent before check-in.

Can you clean between an 11 AM checkout and a 4 PM check-in?

Yes, that is the standard window we plan around. The turnover is scheduled from your calendar between checkout and check-in, and the photo report reaches you before the next guest arrives. Requests made less than 24 hours ahead are taken only when a crew is free.

10 / 17

What do you need from me before the first clean?

A one-page house profile, filled in once per home, so every crew works the same way. It avoids most of the phone calls on cleaning day.

  • How to get in: lockbox, door code or concierge instructions.
  • Where the clean linens, towels and supplies are kept.
  • Parking: visitor spot, street rules or the nearest paid lot.
  • Where the garbage, recycling and green bin go, or the garbage room in a condo.
  • Checkout and check-in times, and the number of guests per stay.
  • Anything specific to the home: a fragile item, a pet rule, a thermostat setting.

11 / 17

Do you clean condos in downtown Toronto?

Yes. If your building asks for cleaners to be registered with the concierge, send us the form and we fill it in before the first visit. Parking and garbage-room rules go in the house profile, so nothing is guessed on the day.

12 / 17

What happens if a cleaner cancels?

You hear from us right away, never silence, and we look for another crew in our network. We don't keep a standby team, so we don't promise a replacement every time. If we can't find one, that turnover is not billed.

13 / 17

What if something is missed?

Send us a photo of it the same day and we come back to fix it at no charge. Every visit also ends with time-stamped photos, so you can check the home before the guest arrives.

14 / 17

Do you supply linens and toiletries?

Linens and supplies are optional and priced per home. If you keep your own linen sets and supplies on site, the crew uses them and tells you when stock runs low. Laundry done on site, instead of swapping clean sets, is quoted per home.

15 / 17

What does a move-out clean include?

A move-out clean is a top-to-bottom clean of an empty unit, for tenants who want their deposit back and landlords preparing the next lease. It goes further than a turnover: inside the appliances, cabinets and closets.

  • Inside the fridge and freezer: shelves and drawers out, washed and dried.
  • Inside the oven and its racks, the stovetop and the range hood filter.
  • Cabinets, drawers and closets: wiped inside and out.
  • Bathrooms descaled: toilet, tub or shower, sink, mirror and vanity drawers.
  • Baseboards, door frames and doors wiped down.
  • Floors vacuumed and washed, corners included.

16 / 17

Can one service handle several properties?

Yes, that is how most co-hosts and property managers use us. Each home has its own house profile, every turnover follows the same checklist, and all the homes come on one invoice. The photo report can be forwarded to the owner as it is.
